A quick introduction to approaches in Jammin.

Approaches in Jammin are a collection of principles, values, theories, methodologies and philosophy behind the project and supporting our main hypothesis: arts and NFE combined are good for inclusion.

With the approaches, we explain what we mean.

We identify social needs: CHALLENGES

We test non formal education activities: TOOLS

We aim for some real encounters: EVENTS

We intend and add some creativity and display what we do along the way: ARTS

We identify/acknowledge the ones making it happen: STORIES

Tools are useful. But attitudes are everything. Listening and observation are the highway to understand.

"We stand for observation and appreciation with the senses, by experiencing. We don ́t stand for observing through the mind: pre-made theories, pre-assumptions or prejudices.... We stand for genuine observation. One to one, face to face, hand to hand, without pre-existing agendas..." ILAB Project, Tortona 2017-2018

In the next Approaches posts we will try to map what is already there from the point of view of approaches and methodologies. We will collect inspiring strategies, activities, theories and methods, both at the local and global level. And we will share our vision: impressions, experiences, perspectives, contents (on arts, inclusion and non formal education).

In the website, you will be able to identify the inspirational pages and posts with a green heart. The green heart is the well-hearten behaviour, action, attitude... respectful of Life, Nature and Universal Rights. It's a peaceful and creative mood.
